Shipping, cancellations, returns & refunds.
Every MapOurStars print is personalized and made after you order. This policy explains the production estimate, U.S. delivery, cancellations, address changes, damaged items, and why change-of-mind returns are not available.

01 · Shipping
Production and U.S. delivery
Destinations. MapOurStars currently accepts checkout addresses in the United States only. We do not currently offer international delivery through the storefront.
Production. Each print is made to order. Most products dispatch within an estimated 1–4 business days after payment. This is a production estimate, not a guaranteed dispatch or arrival date.
Transit and tracking. Carrier transit begins after production and varies by destination, service conditions, weather, and other carrier circumstances. U.S. orders use tracked delivery; we send tracking information to the checkout email when it becomes available.
Shipping charge. The live Stripe checkout shows the full amount MapOurStars will charge before you pay. The current checkout does not add a separate shipping-rate line. If the displayed total does not match your expectation, do not pay; contact support first.
P.O. boxes. Framed products can be too large for some P.O. box services. Use a physical delivery address for framed orders whenever possible.
02 · Address changes
Check the address before payment
Contact support@mapourstars.com immediately if the delivery address is wrong. We will try to update it, but we cannot guarantee changes after production or shipment begins.
If an address entered by the customer causes a failed delivery, return to sender, or replacement shipment, the customer may be responsible for the actual reshipping or replacement cost. We do not charge a restocking fee.
03 · Cancellations
Cancellation depends on production status
Request cancellation by email as soon as possible. If we confirm that production has not started, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund to the original payment method.
Once production begins, cancellation is not guaranteed because the product is already being made to your specifications. Product costs are not refundable after production starts.
04 · Returns and exchanges
Personalized products are not returnable for change of mind
MapOurStars products are tailor-made using the customer’s selected date, time, place, wording, palette, size, frame, and finish. We therefore do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer’s remorse, a change of mind, incorrect customer-entered personalization, or a frame or size preference after delivery.
Because change-of-mind returns are not accepted, there is no return method, return shipping fee, or restocking fee for those requests. This does not limit the damaged, defective, or incorrect-item resolution below or any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
05 · Damage, defects, or the wrong item
Tell us within 30 days of delivery
If the item arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or does not match the order MapOurStars submitted for production, email support within 30 calendar days after delivery.
Include all of the following:
- Your MapOurStars order number
- The email address used at checkout
- A clear description of the problem
- Clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label when relevant
We may ask for additional photos or arrange collection when needed to investigate. If the claim is approved, MapOurStars will choose an appropriate resolution based on the circumstances: a replacement at no additional product or standard-delivery charge, or a refund to the original payment method. You should not send an item back unless support provides written instructions.
06 · Refund timing
Approved refunds return to the original payment method
When a refund is approved, MapOurStars submits it to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit after we submit it.
We will confirm the resolution by email. If 15 business days have passed since our refund confirmation and the credit is not visible, contact support so we can check the payment record.
